Sr Packaging Engineer Latam Packaging Op 

Purpose:

Uncover "the transformation of daily health for everyone", solving real problems to delight shoppers and users through the end-to-end oversight of technical and creative packaging innovation.

Support Packaging Operations US – Package Engineering team to excel in holistic packaging and deliver solutions that include: Packaging that is safe, effective, and compliant Business solutions that are smart, efficient, and operational Consumer experiences that are ownable, intuitive, and engaging.

Key Tasks:

• Assume supporting role for pipeline innovations, business protection & maintenance, and design renovations; accountabilities including Development support of primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging.
• On time, in full delivery of assigned project tasks.
• Effective technical transfer of information to the factory / CMO.
• Serves as a contributor to cross-functional project teams and the change management process via coordinating the review and approval of component drawings / specifications, component testing/qualification, line trials of new components, overseeing package testing, develop bill of materials, and third-party process qualifications.
• Facilitates the resolution of problems during the development process to meet customers’ needs.
• Effectively utilizes key processes and tools (i.e. PLM, Barcode verification) and activities required in the package development process.
• Partners with internal and external customers to efficiently deliver vs. project objectives.
• Efficiently integrates Package Engineering project tasks with BCH US Packaging Operations services processes such as change management and label control as appropriate to ensure timely delivery vs. objectives.
• Collect and analyze packaging component and sustainably data.

Who You Are:

1. Education: Packaging Engineering Bachelors Degree (or equivalent degree) with min. 8y experience.
2. Master’s Degree (or equivalent degree) with min. 4y of proven experience
3. Experience: A proven track record in managing ‘holistic’ packaging development, including the creation, development and delivery of ownable structural and functional consumer impactful packaging innovations, resulting in notable commercial impact.
4. Successful business protection and maintenance of launched packaging, ensuring efficient production and best in class quality in the supply chain.
5. Experience in Impactful packaging process and systems improvement to drive efficiencies in business operating model.
6. Consumer healthcare experience preferred.
