We currently have a career opportunity for a Atlassian Administrator to join our team. While our headquarters
are in St. Louis, MO, this role is remote and open across Perficient offices globally.
We are looking for a Atlassian Administrator who is passionate about administering and scaling Atlassian
Cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Jira, Jira Service Management,
Confluence, governance standards, automation, sandboxes, and Atlassian APIs, with a focus on building a
governed, scalable Atlassian operating model for PCNA.

• Administer Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence in Atlassian Cloud, with strong emphasis on Jira
Service Management configuration and support.
• Design and maintain governance standards for custom fields, issue types, screens, workflows, permissions,
and related configuration objects.
• Use sandboxes to test configuration changes before release and support clean promotion from sandbox to
production environments.
• Evaluate synchronization approaches for moving configurations from sandbox to production and refreshing
data from production to sandbox.
• Build and support global and project or space level automations that improve service delivery, governance,
and platform scale.
• Monitor Atlassian release tracks, assess feature changes, and explain likely impact to client stakeholders in
practical terms.
• Recommend apps, plugins, and native features that fit growing usage patterns, governance needs, and
operational maturity.
• Support product status monitoring and platform health reporting through Atlassian APIs and related
monitoring approaches.
• Partner with client stakeholders to align administration choices with governance, license efficiency, and
service management outcomes.
• Strong Atlassian Cloud administration experience across Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence.
• Hands-on depth in Jira Service Management configuration, workflows, request types, queues, forms, and
related service operations.
• Experience defining or enforcing Jira governance standards, including custom fields, workflows, permissions,
and configuration hygiene.
• Working knowledge of Atlassian product models, app ecosystem, and licensing considerations.
• Experience using Atlassian Sandboxes to validate changes and support safe release management.
• Experience building or maintaining Atlassian automations at global and project or space levels.
• Ability to communicate platform changes and tradeoffs clearly to client stakeholders.
• Preferred: experience evaluating synchronization tools such as Salto or similar solutions for configuration
promotion and environment alignment.
• Preferred: experience with Atlassian Release Tracks and explaining upcoming platform changes to
non-technical stakeholders.
• Preferred: experience using Atlassian APIs for product status monitoring or related application monitoring
workflows.
• Preferred: Atlassian certifications such as Atlassian Certified Professional credentials.
