Engenheiro de Meio Ambiente, Saúde e Segurança (LATAM):
Estamos buscando um Engenheiro de Meio Ambiente, Saúde e Segurança (LATAM) motivado e experiente para prestar apoio principal à nossa unidade de Taboão da Serra (TdS) no Brasil, além de contribuir para iniciativas de EHS e Gestão da Segurança de Processos (PSM) em outras unidades da região da América Latina, incluindo Colômbia e México.
Esta função desempenha um papel fundamental no fortalecimento de nossa cultura regional de EHS, alinhada com a visão “Zero Harm” da empresa. O cargo exige presença diária na unidade de TdS, estreita colaboração com as equipes operacionais e envolvimento ativo em inspeções, auditorias, investigações de incidentes e iniciativas de melhoria contínua.
O Engenheiro de Meio Ambiente, Saúde e Segurança para a América Latina também apoiará a criação, padronização e implementação de normas corporativas, procedimentos, conteúdo de treinamento e programas de EHS/PSM em toda a região da América Latina.

Environment, Health and Safety Engineer LATAM:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Environment, Health and Safety Engineer LATAM to provide primary support to our Taboão da Serra (TdS) site in Brazil, while also contributing to EHS and Process Safety Management (PSM) initiatives across other LATAM sites, including Colombia and Mexico.
This role plays a key part in strengthening our regional EHS culture aligned with the company’s “Zero Harm” vision. The position requires daily presence on-site at TdS, close collaboration with operational teams, and active involvement in inspections, audits, incident investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
The Environment, Health and Safety Engineer LATAM will also support the creation, standardization, and implementation of corporate standards, procedures, training content, and EHS/PSM programs across the LATAM region.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Site-Level Responsibilities (Primary Focus – Taboão da Serra, Brazil)
Ensure site compliance with corporate EHS standards, PSM program, industrial Hygiene, and local regulatory requirements.
Maintain and update all Taboão da Serra environmental and safety licenses and permits, including submissions to regulatory agencies.
Manage hazardous and non‑hazardous waste programs.
Conduct and support incident investigations, root cause analyses, and follow-up on corrective actions.
Plan, prepare, update, and deliver occupational safety, environmental, and fire protection training.
Participate in internal and external audits, regulatory inspections, and company assessments.
Coordinate the annual EHS audit plan and related programs for the Brazil site.
Maintain EHS action tracking within the company’s digital EHS management system.
Ensure EHS procedures, work instructions, and safety standards are up to date and properly implemented.
Promote a strong safety culture through the Zero Harm program.
Monitor contractor compliance and ensure adherence to company EHS requirements.
Support Engineering in evaluating new projects from a Safety, Health, and Environmental perspective.
Manage product safety & product stewardship programs.
Regional Responsibilities (Colombia & Mexico)
Support the development, harmonization, and standardization of regional and corporate EHS and PSM procedures.
Participate in and contribute to regional and corporate EHS initiatives, campaigns, and continuous improvement projects.
Develop and coordinate regional training materials, programs, and awareness content for EHS, Zero Harm and PSM topics.
Provide technical guidance and best‑practice sharing across LATAM sites, including proactive learning actions from Huntsman incidents.
Assist regional assessments and cross‑site evaluations as needed.
Collaborate with regional teams to align LATAM performance with global EHS goals and expectations.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
Education & Experience
Education requirement: Engineer graduation (Chemical, Environmental or a relevant field plus Post Graduation in Safety Engineer)
CREA register active
Desirable 5+ years of experience in an EHS role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Ability to work fully on-site at the Taboão da Serra facility (remote work only for exceptional circumstances).

Advanced English (reading, speaking, and writing)
Strong knowledge of EHS principles, regulatory compliance, and industrial safety.
Hands-on experience with risk assessments, inspections, and incident investigations.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work across multicultural teams.
Proactive mindset, strong teamwork orientation, and ability to influence diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with Process Safety Management (PSM).
Availability for occasional weekend activities and regional travel.
